Today was the day. We finally started the project that all the materials have been sent in for. We started building our model of the piece of playground equipment we designed last week.
We cut, we glued, we taped and created some pretty awesome slides, zip lines and swings using our imagination and a whole bucket of perseverance. It was tough but Ms. Taylor said we did a good job putting our plans into action. We used our imagination and some tricks Ms. Taylor gave us to turn cardboard boxes and tubes into something pretty terrific.
Tomorrow we get to finish creating and add some details and then it's time to start writing our plan.
We read also read a few stories with Ms. Taylor and joined Mrs. Seymour's class for gym out on the field.
It was a pretty terrific Tuesday :)
