Today we started the day creating different structures with different materials while some of us met with Ms. Taylor to talk about our writing.
We built some very cool things with our groups.
We spent lots of time with all the other kindergartener's practicing for our celebration of learning. We are getting better and better, you are going love it :)
We also started our big final writing piece using first, next, last about our playground creations.
Today we started with 'First, I used...' and completed the sentence by sounding out words, using sight words or words from our word boards. It was hard, but we just tried our very best and used the tools Ms. Taylor gave us (letter charts, word boards, and sight words).
*Reminder - we would love any paper towel rolls or longer cardboard tubes you may have at home. We had more than enough materials for our building, thank you so much. We just need the the tubes for a project at the celebration of learning.*
*Celebration of Learning - June 13. Doors open at 10:00 am and the performance gets started at 10:15am followed by an activity in your child's classroom*
