Wonderful Wednesday

Today we finally made our Splat game in our visual journals. We had to glue down 5 to 10 dots and then write the number. We also wrote the word splat on our splats and then played with a friend. Splat! How many are hiding?

We had lots of fun practicing with Splat. It helps us with number pairs.

At morning meeting some of us had turns trying to find different words on the white board. Some that we were looking for today were 'I', "a', 'the', "at" and "it. We even tried to make some words with 'at' and 'it', we talked about cat, bat, rat and sit. Ms. Taylor was pretty impressed with how we were sounding out these words :)

We had music today with Ms. Lysak.

To finish today, we listened to our Top Banana and practiced asking questions or giving comments. We have lots of nice comments to give and had questions on topic!
