Today was a busy day of preparing for our big event tonight. We started with centers to get some of our wiggles out and then proceeded to the gym to practice our dress rehearsal. We did awesome! We also got a chance to watch one group of storytellers in our classroom. We are very excited about this evening's event and are looking forward to our parents seeing our wonderful work.
Please note: We will be going for a walk tomorrow to the pond. Remember to dress your child appropriately with mittens, toques, snowpants and boots.
Reminder:
Parent Information for the Celebration of Learning Evening performance
On the night of the performance, the front of the school doors will open at 6:00pm. Please come into the front entrance of the school with your child. Please bring your child into the learning commons area (library). Kindergarten teachers will be waiting to greet your child. You can then go into the gym to find a seat. Kindergarten students will remain with their classmates and teachers for the remainder of the performance. Once the opening performance has finished, Kindergarten will be taken back to the learning commons to wait for parent pick up. Parents who are not going to watch siblings perform throughout the school will come directly to the learning commons to pick up their child. Please make sure you check in with your child's teacher upon pick up so we can sign your child out. If you are attending individual classroom storytelling events, your Kindergarten child will stay in the Learning Commons until the end of the evening.
Kind regards,
Mrs. Patten
