Today we spent the day catching up on some of the tasks we haven't quite finished over the past little while. Some of us sorted animals, some of us coloured title pages and some of us practiced our letters. There was lots to do. Mrs. Patten was proud of us working hard to get the work done. We also learned the letter Vv today and then completed a guided drawing of a van. Since it has been so cold outside, we had a movement break inside the classroom before we did our center time.
At the end of the day Mrs. Patten read us a book called Jacob O'Reilly wants a pet. In the story, the boy changes his mind about all the fun and exciting pets he would like and instead ends up with something quite quiet and small. Ask me about what pet he gets and why he changed his mind.
