Terrific Tuesday

It was a terrific Tuesday. After morning tubs today, we practiced a special song we are learning. Then we worked on printing and represented the numbers 0 and 1. We realized they are fairly easy to represent :) Continuing on as pet experts, today we found out about what the pet we are studying needs and what they are like. We talked about traits such as furry, slimy, loud, quiet, big and small. Most students also realized that pets need most of the same things such as food, water and a home. We will be discussing this further as we talk about how some animals need more space to move around and require the ability to go outside. We have had lots of great discussions around these topics.  At the end of the day, Mr. Stockton came to our class to practice our story.

Important:
Our Celebration of Learning to share our work with Mr. Stockton will take place on the evening of Wednesday, March 13th. Doors will open at 6:00pm. A blue notice came home with students regarding this event in their backpacks today.  Please fill out and sign the bottom portion of the notice and send it back into the school.

Reminders:
Tomorrow is PINK shirt day (Stand Up Against Bullying)

Kind regards,
Mrs. Patten
