Marvelous Monday

We had a great morning in kindergarten.  We began our morning by creating some Valentine bags, which we will exchange tomorrow. We also had Mr. Stockton join us this morning to continue to work on our great pet story! We are enjoying adding our personal touches to the story.  After the story-telling, we completed our post-assessment for writing. Mrs. Patten showed us a picture of a pet store and we had to write about what we saw. Some of wrote sentences, others tried new words. Watch for these writing pieces to come home for parents to see.

Thank you to Winston for sharing about having a Gecko as a pet. Tomorrow's top banana is Karis.

We also wished Hannah a happy 5th birthday!

Reminders:
Kindergarten will be exchanging Valentine's tomorrow- February 12th.  If you wish to  participate please send your child with these to school tomorrow.  See the notice below for more details.

There is NO school on Thursday, February 14th and Friday, February 15th due to Teacher's Convention. There is also NO school on Monday, February 18th for Family Day. We will see students back at school on Tuesday, February 19th.
