Today we began our day with morning jobs and then morning meeting. Mrs. Patten had us work as a group to solve the problem, I have 6 hamsters. Some are big and some are small. How many of each could I have? on the board. After practicing this together, we each continued to work on our fish in a bowl problem. We coloured red and blue fish and then wrote how many of each we had in the bowl. Some students also tried using 3 coloured fish. Watch for this activity to come home for you to see.
After our math work, we had music with Ms. Lysak, snack and then were off to P.E. It was a busy day! Thanks to our top banana, Ronan for sharing his ideas about a pet lizard with the class. Our top banana tomorrow is Lincoln.
