We enjoyed another visit from Mr. Stockton today. We shared with him some of our story ideas which included:
Tristan- wolf howling at the moon
Adi- jungle story
Mekaeel- Ninjago
Jemika, Quinn, Ryleigh, Braelyn and Bennett- Unicorn stories
Bennett- a puppy finding good
Eldana- grandmother spider
Kaeson- Jungle book
Karis- Lion King 2
Kyle- Pirate story
Hannah- a queen and a king
Ronan- tornado with animals
Lucien- lion and cheetah race
Winston- someone surviving in the desert
Bennett- A little puppy and he's eating his food
Owin- A dinosaur story
We discussed the components of a story and Mr. Stockton asked us to think more about our story ideas. Our homework was to narrow down some of our ideas and to see the different parts of those stories. We also enjoyed more of Mr. Stockton's story using the harp as well.
We also used a picture of a pet store today to write about some of things we might see there. We all practiced writing some letters either beginning sound, end sounds or a number of words to create a sentence.
