Fantastic Friday

Today we were so excited to meet our grade 2 buddies. We each got paired up with a student from Ms. Gardner's class. We introduced ourselves and shared a few things about ourselves before drawing a picture of each other. The grade 2's then read us a book. It was great!

We also did a sharing circle and talked about the different ways we arranged our birds on a branch yesterday. We had lots of great ideas like:

- 3 birds flying, 2 on the branch

- 1 big bird, 4 small birds

- 5 birds flying, none on the branch

We realized that even though we all had different arrangements of 5, we still had 5!  We also practiced printing the number 3 and showed it in a bunch of different ways.  We were lucky to take part in drumming in music class again today. It is a lot of fun.
