Happy Monday! Today we began our day with new morning tubs. This week our tubs will focus on preparing for winter and creating winter scenes. We worked on our letter of the week, Dd, this morning. After practicing how we write letter Dd, we completed a guided drawing of a dog. Guided drawings help us build our drawing skills as well as following instructions and steps. This was a hard one but Mrs. Patten was hard of us for persevering. We also completed another Brainy Math problem this morning. This time we tried to figure out Brainy's number that was between 3 and 7. Check out below for one for you to try at home. During snack, we listened to the story Bear Snores On. We discussed the things the animals did in the story to stay warm. We also learned the word 'hibernate'.
How to extend my learning at home:
- Try to think of as many Dd words as you can
- Talk about the ways that your family keeps warm and prepares for the cold weather both inside and outside your home
