Wonderful Wednesday

This morning we continued working on our morning tubs around the things that we need. We are getting good at identifying healthy food, clothing for different weather and different types of homes. Mrs. Patten also worked with some of us to give us feedback to improve our needs drawing.  She has asked us questions such as: What else could you add to your picture that is a need? Can you try drawing your house with details such as windows and doors? Can you add any word labels using the word list?

Today we also began an art project of our special tree in the fall. We are using paint to draw the truck, branches and leaves of the tree.  We discussed how the tree looked in the fall and read the story Fletcher and the Falling Leaves to consider fall changes.

Thanks for our top banana Braelyn for sharing her cow with the class. Our top banana tomorrow is Presley.

How to extend my learning at home:
- take a walk around the community looking for fall changes
- talk about the things at home that you need and the things that are wants

Reminder:
No school on Friday, October 26th. It is a PD day.

Kind regards,
Mrs. Patten
