Thumbs Up Thursday

It was another great day in kindergarten. We worked hard to do a lot of the work we wanted to get done and also had time for some fun too. After listening to some songs about the letter F, we practiced writing the letter Ff. Then we did a guided drawing of a frog as a class. We finished our Fall tree art today. Using a variety of materials such as paintbrushes, sponges and q-tips, we created the trunk, branches and leaves of the tree. We did a great job. Afterward, we enjoyed a fresh air break outside and then had time to do some centers as well.  All in all a great day!

Thanks to our top banana, Presley for her help today.

How can I extend my learning at home:
- go for a fall walk this weekend to see some signs of fall

Reminders:
- There is no school tomorrow (PD Day)

Halloween
With next Wednesday being Halloween, students are welcome to wear their halloween costumes or pajamas.  Students will be involved in their regular learning activities including music so we ask that they are able to move and see without restriction. Any costumes that include masks or weapons should be left at home for evening festivities. Please send regular snacks only that day :)

Parent Volunteers
