Wacky Wednesday

It was a great Halloween in kindergarten!  We enjoyed all the unique and fun costumes and pajamas in our class. This morning we continued with our new learning tubs. Mrs. Patten has been proud of our ability to find our names and begin our work each morning.

Today we did some Halloween math. We began with some subitizing, quickly recognizing the number of objects without counting. Then, we created pumpkin patches by finger painting pumpkins. We worked with Mrs. Patten to demonstrate that we had the correct number of pumpkins in each of our pumpkin patches. Can you subitize the teacher dice?

Thank you to our top banana, Jemika for sharing her unicorn with us today.  Tomorrow's top banana is Eldana.

Be safe tonight as you enjoy your Halloween festivities and remember that we are practicing choosing mostly healthy choices during snack time.

Happy Halloween!
Mrs. Patten
