We worked on a few morning tubs where we built shapes and others where we practiced tracing and finding the shapes.
Tracing and learning about different 2D shapes
"Trying to make a 3D triangle" -Ronan
Taking a chance to try and build 2D and 3D shapes with popsicle sticks and plasticine
Leaning all about triangles, squares oh my!
Working hard to match shapes to objects
Our 3D shape poem to help us remember..
A circle is flat and sphere is not." Hannah
A cylinder is like a can of pop, and has two circles on either side." Karis
For our job today we did some first, next, last writing about grass growing. We watched a time-lapse video of grass growing and learned it grows pretty fast.
We wrote the first step, next and last in our journals. It was good practice for connecting letter sounds to words and trying to write sentences.
"We learned how a plant grows, important to water it to grow," Winston
"We drew and sounded out words for how plants grow. "Jemika
We finished with music with Ms. Lysak.
'We sang a pizza song." Adi
'We sang ham and eggs' Preseley.
Sounds like music was fun :)
