Marvelous Monday

Today we talked a little about 2D and 3D shapes and worked on a few activities related to shapes for our morning tubs.

We also started to sign all our friends visual journals
It was great practice for writing our names :)

BUT the highlight today was joining all the other kindergarten students to have our snack in the lunch room area just like grade ones.

We talked about the rules of the lunchroom all together and then practiced them while having our snack.
The three main rules are:
1. We need permission to leave our spot - we need to put our hands up and wait before we go to the bathroom, the garbage can or the water fountain.
2.We do not share our food.
3.We clean up after ourselves.

We had so much fun pretending to be grade ones today.

ONLY 7 days of kindergarten left.

*Picnic snack at the park on Thursday, June 20 ( weather dependent but come dressed for the weather)
*NO AM kindergarten this Friday June 21
*Activity Day is Monday, June 24
*LAST day is June 26, dismissal is at 11:45
