Wonderful Wednesday

We started off today by talking about if we wanted to have a good day at school (which we do). We had lots of ideas about how we could make our day a great day for all of us. Things like listening to the teacher, sitting criss-cross, not talking when Ms. Taylor is, using full body listening, raising our hands to share and trying to keep our volume at an ok level.

We had a fun job today! We painted rainbows with fancy water colour pencil crayons, it was fun but we learned adding the water was a bit a tricky! The final product was beautiful and was sent home as the invitation to the celebration of learning!

We spent a whole hour with Ms. Lysak for music with all our kindergarten friends getting ready for our Celebration of Learning!

Ms. Taylor read us a neat book during snack called 'Izzy Peck, architect!" and we learned that an architect is someone who designs and builds buildings, towers, and even bridges. Ask me to see if I remember what Izzy built first, next and last.

Whew, we tried to fit a lot into our morning today.

We finished our day with centers we too were like architects building different structures!

Kind regards,

Ms. Taylor
