Wednesday will be Hats on for Mental Health Day and students are welcome to wear their hats to school.
Book orders are due Wednesday, May 1st.
We started with learning tubs today, a few new ones were introduced. We are still creating with different materials at one table, counting and graphing bugs at another and flipping giant cards and showing the two numbers with two different coloured blocks and one group was writing/drawing about our weekend. Mondays are fun when new tables are introduced.
Our job today was to practice showing the number 9 in different ways. We have been working on representing numbers lots and are getting better at it. Today we talked about how 9 can't be showed on just one dice and thought of two ways we could - 6 and 3 and 5 and 4.
We will be talking more about how to make up numbers from other numbers this week!
We also had phys. ed today and had lots of fun with Ms. Nanavaty and our friends from Mrs.Hughes class.
