When we returned to the class, we continued our work on our storyboards. We added the next part of the story and wrote a sentence to describe the first and next parts. We are working on using our popcorn (sight) words and the beginning, middle and end sounds that we hear.
To end our day, we continued with our centers. Students have been continued to choose to play with many of the animal centers to link the work we have been doing in class.
How to extend my learning at home:
- After reading stories together, practice story sequencing by discussing the beginning, middle and end of the story
- Practice being a storyteller using the checklist above
