Terrific Tuesday

Welcome back after the long weekend. The students were excited to be back into the swing of things. We began our day by sharing some of the things we did with our families over the weekend. Lots of students shared that they had a great time with their families. We also talked about the letter Ww and did a guided drawing of a whale. It was a hard one to follow today but we are getting great at doing our best and persevering. Mr. Stockton came for a visit and we practiced our story with him.  At the end of the day, we had lots of time to play centers such as sand, barbies, the barn, animals and colouring.  Mrs. Patten then read us the story, Our Very Own Dog. In the story, we talked about how the dog, Sophie got the things she needed from her owners.
