Wonderful Wednesday

We had a great last day before our winter break. After enjoying our holiday themed morning tubs, we learned a poem called "Snowflakes, Snowflakes" to go with our snowflake art from yesterday. Let me tell you the poem at home!

Snowflakes, snowflakes

dance around.

Snowflakes, snowflakes

touch the ground.

Snowflakes, snowflakes

in the air.

Snowflakes, snowflakes

everywhere!

After reading our poem, we chose different math games to play such as race to the top, roll and subitize and snakes and ladders. It was great to practice some of our subitizing skills as well as play with a friend. We enjoyed a book called Winter Break Wipeout and then centers before heading to music.  

Reminders:

There is NO school for kindergarten students this Thursday and Friday. School resumes on January 8th.
