Today we had the chance to show some of our learning over the last few months. We talked about all the ways that we know to help others. Some of the ideas we shared included:
Donating old shoes- Lincoln
Giving someone a coffee so they don't get cold- Kyle
Donating old clothes that I don't wear anymore to other kids who don't have clothes- Sadie
Giving someone my old clothes- Braelyn and Adi
Giving money to people to buy the food and clothes they need- Owin and Winston
Giving a bandaid to someone who is hurt- Jemika
Going to the teddy bear toss to donate a bear- Quinn
Giving someone snow pants for the winter- Karis
Going to donation places and giving them the things your family doesn't need anymore- Bennett
Giving people food- Eldana
Buying someone a toy- Mekaeel
Drawing pictures for other to make them happy- Ryleigh
Giving someone mitts to keep their hands warm in the winter- Hannah
Using our ideas, we created a drawing to show how we can add details, backgrounds and words to bring context to our ideas. Make sure to check these out at conferences.
Reminders:
Conferences are next Thursday and Friday. Please book a time where you can bring your child with you as the conferences will have some parent and child involvement. Conference booking begins this Thursday, November 13th @ 4:00pm. Please book a conference on your mycbe account.
