We started off the week with a little Christmas cheer singing Christmas carols in the gym as an entire school. It was great to see the kindergarten students taking a chance to try out some new songs. When we returned, we practiced writing the letter Qq. After watching a Qq video, we came up with some Qq words such as Quinn, queen, quilt, question and quickly. We have started adding as many sounds as we can hear to label the words we have drawn.
We also had P.E. with Ms. Nanavaty. We learned a new dance play song today to the song Hurricane. Ask me about what we did. When we returned, we had a chance to have snack and then did our centers.
Reminders:
There is NO school for kindergarten students on Thursday and Friday. Classes will resume on January 8th for students.
Please book a parent-teacher conference if you have not had the opportunity to do so.
