Thumbs up Thursday

We had such a great day in kindergarten. To start our day we had music since we missed it yesterday due to our pita presentation. When we returned, we did some math problems.  Our first problem was which one doesn't belong.  Try it out together at home. 

Next, Brainy asked us, "I am thinking of a number that comes before 10.  What could my number be?"  We each came up with an answer and then using a number line, we proved if our answer could have been the number. 

After a fresh air break, we practiced our detailed drawings and colouring skills to replicate the pita that we created yesterday. We did such a wonderful job adding details.  It was also evident that we are using our colouring rubic to help us with doing our best colouring. 

How to extend my learning at home:

- try out this math problem together.  Brainy is thinking of a number that comes before 6.  What could the number be?

- practice the sounds of the letters we have learned so far this year- L, T, F, K, J, U, C

Reminders:

There is NO school for students tomorrow as it is a PD day.  See you on Monday.
