Wonderful Wednesday

Another snowy day but we kept busy inside our warm classroom. After morning tubs, we took a chance to cut and glue.  We coloured, cut and glued some shapes into our chance book. Mrs. Patten reminded us that when we cut our thumbs are up and we keep our chicken wings down :)  We also practiced our Tt song for the letter of the week.

Today Ms. Stacy (our school physiotherapist) came into our classroom and read us an action book called From Head to Toe.  We got to move like a seal, arch like a cat and wiggle like a crocodile. Ask me about the actions we did.

Happy 5th birthday to Jemika and thanks to our top banana Kaeson for his help today. Our top banana tomorrow is Hannah.

How to extend my learning at home?
- See if you can find patterns at home
- Make patterns out of items you have at home such as beads, lego etc.
- Sort objects into groups by colour, size or shape
- Think of words that begin with the letter Tt

Note: We will be going on a walk to the park on Friday (weather dependent) so please dress your child appropriately to be outside.

Kind regards,
Mrs. Patten
