Monday Fun!

It was another great day in kindergarten. We got to spin the alphabet wheel! When it landed on an uppercase letter, we worked together to identify the letter. We talked about people in the class whose first name started with that letter.  Using the ideas we had brainstormed as a class, we recapped our class expectations: Take care of yourself, Take care of each other and Take care of this place.  Mrs. Patten has been taking pictures of us all showing these expectations throughout the day. We also read the book, Giraffes Can Dance, and talked about how sometimes we have to take a chance more than once before we are successful. To represent our line work over the past few weeks, we created a line structure out of pipe cleaners. The turned out great.  Take a line walk around your house to find all sorts of lines.  You will be amazed at what you can find.
