Marvelous Monday

Only 11 days of kindergarten left :)

Can you believe it?

We started our day off with some math tub time practicing representing numbers in different ways :)

Today our task was a little bit of writing all about Dad, but it's a secret until the weekend.

We also added more details and colour to our first, next, last writing we did last we about our playground equipment we made. We will have these writing pieces up for parents to see when they come for our Celebration of Learning on Thursday.

We had gym outside with Ms. Nanavaty today and lots of fun with our friends from Mrs.Seymour's class practicing catching balls with scoops - ask me all about it.

*Parent reminders/info*

*We are still looking for paper towel rolls, NOT toilet paper rolls. Thank you in advance.

*Our Celebration of Learning is Thursday, June 13 at 10:15 am, the doors open t 10:00 am, followed by a short activity in our classroom after the performance.

*We will be going on a water walk led by the gr. 2's on Friday - please come dressed for the water as we will be going for a walk around the pond. More info below:

Grade 2 Water Walk
The Grade 2’s will be hosting a Water Walk on Friday, June 14th to educate others about various water topics and how the way we live impacts our natural environment.  Please join us as we celebrate our hard work over the last few months. This event will begin in the gymnasium and then proceed outdoors for a walk around the pond with a Grade 2 Environmental Activist. Two Grade 2 classes at a time are responsible to host, educate, share and guide everyone.
