Thumbs Up Thursday (and a late Wonderful Wednesday)

Yesterday was pretty wonderful. We spent an hour with Ms. Lysak and the rest of our kindergarten friends practicing our song. We are going to be so good!

Today we did a rough copy of our plan to build a piece of playground equipment. Next week we get to build the model of it (thank you for all the supplies :) )

We had to write first, next last. We will use this work as a plan for our building next week - all architects have to start with a drawing and and a plan!

First what materials, then what we are going to build and last what it is for/how it is safe or fun.
We picked two or three materials - things like plastic, metal, screws, rubber or mesh/rope (from our list of material words we created) .
Then, I built a _________ .
Last, is it fun/safe, how?

Lots of writing and beautiful plans were created today!

So many ideas - slides, swings, zip lines, monkey bars, rocket ship slide/climbing wall.

After we worked so hard on our big job we had snack and then Ms. Taylor took us outside to enjoy the weather and get some fresh air.

*Parent Reminder*

*AM kindergarten tomorrow and it is pajama/stuffy day!!*

*We would still love some paper towel or bigger rolls, but we have lots of other cardboard - thank you so much!!*
