We asked lots of questions about our fish- Where it comes from? How it is made? What would happen if we tapped the tank? We are hoping to answer some of these questions this week.
Today watched a video about betta fish and learned a few facts:
- Betta fish can breath air and can live without water for a very short bit of time.
- Male betta fish take care of the babies.
- There are many different types and colours of beta fish, mostly distinguished by their tails.
We are pretty sure Blueberry Squirtel Bubbles is a veil-tail betta fish.
After the video we started to label the betta fish and learn what the different fins are called.

| So far his tank is pretty boring, hopefully not for long! |
We used our imagination yesterday to create pictures of what we think Blueberry's tank is missing. We definitely think he needs some rocks, plants and some sort of ornament for his home.
Reminder that field trip forms went home today. Please return blue forms and money as soon as possible.
We are still looking for 1 or 2 volunteers to come with us for the day on April 16. Volunteers need to have a CBE Police Clearance.
