Terrific Tuesday

Another busy day in kindergarten. We started to talk about mistakes today and what we can do with them. As a jumping off point for our creating unit we started to read a book called the Beautiful Oops by Barney Saltzberg.

Today we read the first few pages that told us that a torn piece of paper is just the beginning! So that was where we started. We started with a rip in a piece of construction paper and tried to use our imagination to create something new with the tear. We tried to not see it as a mistake but a chance to make something new!
