Thankful Thursday

Today we read a book called Thank You For Me.

We talked about the best parts of each of us and why were were thankful for them. We then shared things we are thankful for in our lives.  Our ideas included:

My family because we do things together. - Karis

My cabin because I get to go there in the summer. - Winston

My sister because I can share toys with her.- Hannah

My swim classes because I learn to swim.- Adi

My sister because she wants to play with me. - Bennett

Colouring because I can make pictures.- Lincoln

My sister because I can push her on the swings.- Braelyn

Sharing toys with my brothers because I love them.- Tristan

Eli because he plays games with me. - Quinn

My grandma and grandpa because they have a big lake to play in.- Jemika

My brother because I swing with my brother.- Eldana

My swimming pool because I get to do bobs. - Ronan

My toys because I play with my sister.- Mekaeel

Kittens because they are cute.- Ryleigh

Baby animals because I can take care of them.- Sadie

We will continue to discuss how we are unique and the things we are thankful for as we talk more about the things that people need and want. 

How to extend my learning at home?

- Find items around your house that begin with the letter Ll. Practice drawing the letter Ll from top to bottom.

- Discuss the things you are thankful for together as a family

- Keep working on tricky zippers and getting all of our winter clothes on independently

Reminder: There is NO school for AM kindergarten tomorrow (PM attends). There is NO school on Monday, October 8th.  Book orders are due on Tuesday, October 9th.
